Given :

67x2 is divisible by 3

To find :

x = ?

Solution :

We know that a number is divisible by 3 only if sum of its digits is also divisible by 3.

Sum of digits

= 6+7 + 2 + x

= x + 9 + 6

= x + 15

If we substitute value of x as 2 we get sum as 17 which is not divisible by 3. ( So eradicate 1 option)

Similarly if we substitute value of x as 4 we get 19 which is not divisible by 3. ( So eradicate 2 option)

If we substitute value as 0 and 6 , we get 15 and 21 respectively which are divisible by 3.

So, answer could be either 0 or 6.

If we read question again , we come to know that in question it's written smallest missing number.

So, x = 0. (Option 3)
