Sub: Thefts in Model Town I am dismayed to write that of late,

There have been several thefts reported in our area and I believe none of the cases have been closed or culprits brought to justice.

Please note these two suggestions that may help deter thieves in the area.

1. More police constables on beat, especially between 9 PM – 5 AM.

2. Installation of CCTV cameras at strategic locations and encouraging homes, shops to install CCTV cameras.

I am certain this will have a detrimental effect on anti-social elements.
