Answer:

1 Toto comes to grandfather's private zoo when he buys him from a tonga-driver for a sum of five rupees. The tonga-driver used to keep the little red monkey tied to a feeding-trough, and the monkey looked so out of place there that Grandfather decided he would add the little fellow to his private zoo.

2 In the story, 'The Adventures of Toto', Toto is an extremely mischievous monkey. Ruskin Bond describes it pretty as it was rather attractive according to monkey standards. Toto had beautiful eyes sparkling with mischief beneath deep-set eyebrows.

3 He did not allow other pet animals to sleep at night. Thus, Grandfather decided to take Toto to Saharanpur. A big black canvas bag was arranged for Toto to travel. The Ticket collector classified Toto as a dog because there was no mention of fare in his rulebook for a monkey to travel in the railways.

4 Toto takes bath in a tub of warm water. It puts its legs in the water one by one and applies soap as well. As monkeys are good at aping others, so Toto has learnt proper steps of bathing while watching the narrator doing same

Toto first tests the temperature of water in the bowl. Then his gradually steps into it. He goes neck deep into the water. ...

He has learnt all this by watching the author.

5.The author says that Toto was not the kind of pet that they could keep for long because he was extremely mischievous. He destroyed many things - he tore the wallpapers, clothes and curtains. He broke dishes too. The family could not afford all this and so, decided to get rid of Toto.

Hope it helps you mate...
