Time taken to complete the work = 20 days
Work done in one day = 1/20
Time taken by B to do 1/3 work = 10 days
Time taken to complete the work = 30 days
Work done in one day = 1/30
1/20 + 1/30 = 1/x
(20 + 30)x = 600
x = 12
They both will take 12 days to finish the work.
