Rewrite  

100 as  10 ^2 . 10 ^2 − 9 x 2

Rewrite  9 x 2  as  ( 3 x ) 2 . 10^ 2 − ( 3 x ) 2

Since both terms are perfect squares, factor using the difference of squares formula,  

a 2 − b 2 = ( a + b ) ( a − b )

where  

a = 10  and  

b = 3 x . ( 10 + 3 x ) ( 10 − ( 3 x ) )

Multiply  3  by   − 1  . ( 10 + 3 x )

( 10 − 3 x )
