Hey friend, Harish here.

Here is your answer:

Given,

An expression p² - 10p + 25.

Objective.

To factorize the given expression.

Solution,

Let us solve this using Splitting the middle term method,

We know that,  a + b = - 10,  & ab = 25. So, a = -5, b =-5

Then,

p^{2}- 10 p +25 = p^{2}-5p -5p +25.

Now take common, Then:

⇒    p^{2}-5p -5p +25  = p (p - 5)-5(p-5)

⇒    (p-5)(p-5) = (p-5)^{2}

Therefore the expression is factorized.
