Answer:

length of wire used will be 48m

Step-by-step explanation:

Fence = perimeter = 2(l+b) for rectangle

= 2(5+3)

=2(8)

=16m is perimeter

16x3 = 48m as it wants three rounds of wire.

REQUIRED ANSWER :-

GIVEN :-

  • Length of the park = 5m
  • Breadth of the park = 3m
  • The park has to be fenced thrice.

TO FIND :-

  • The length of the wire such that the park is to be fenced three time.

SOLUTION :-

Required , perimeter of the park = 2 ( l + b )

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀= 2 ( 5 + 3 ) m

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀= 2 ( 8 ) m

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀= 16 m

  • Therefore , length the fence is 16 m

But , he wants to fence the park three times.

Therefore , required lengh of fence = 3 × 16 m

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀= 48 m ✔️

Therefore , correct option = 48 m.

EXTRA INFORMATION :-

  • Area of square =
  • Area of rectangle = l × b
  • Perimeter of square = 4 × s
  • Area of triangle = 1/2 × l × b
  • Perimeter of triangle = l + b + h.
