Explanation:

When the man is standing:

Pressure =Force/Area

Force=mg=(80 kg*10 m/s2)=800 N

So
The area here must be multiplied by 2 here,becoz
the area of 1 foot is given in the question but a man stands with 2 feet.

P=800 /2*8×10^−4 sq.m=5*10^5 Pascals.

Note: Do not forget to convert cm2 to m2 !

ruprekha11: If 1kgf = 10(nearly) then 80kgf = 800N
ruprekha11: plss
ruprekha11: help
praneeth06: kgf means kg force.. so we simply multiply weight by gravity.. in this case its 10
praneeth06: so what u said is right when g is 10m/s2
ruprekha11: If area = 80cm to the power 2 = 160 cm square = 160*1/10 to the power 4
praneeth06: 1sq.cm = 10^-4 sq.m
praneeth06: i multiplied 80 with 2 becoz his weight is on 2 foot and not on 1
ruprekha11: ha yes
praneeth06: so 80sq.cm= 80*10^-4sq.m
