Answer:

The coordinates of the triangle are (11, 5), (-5, -3) and (-1, 7)

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the triangle be ΔABC with coordinates (a,b), (c,d), (e,f).

As given in question, midpoint of AB = (3,1)

midpoint of BC = (-3,2)

midpoint of CA =  (5,6)

First, lets solve for x-coordinates, according to midpoint formula if x is the midpoint of x1 and x2,   x = (x1+x2)/2

for side AB,   (a+c)/2 = 3

                       a+c = 6   --------------1

BC,  (c+e)/2 = -3

       c+e = -6                 --------------2

CA, (e+a)/2 = 5

       e+a = 10                ---------------3

now we have 3 equations and 3 variables which can be solved easily.

using 1 and 2

         a-e = 12 ----------------4

using 3 and 4

         a = 11, e = -1

again using 1,

          c = -5

similarly for y coordinates,

b+f = 12

f+d = 4

d+b = 2

solving these 3 equations,

b = 5, d = -3, f = 7

Hence the coordinates of the triangle are (11,5),(-5,-3,) and (-1,7).
