1.

Given Ratio: 15:8

For expressing it as %,

 \frac{15}{8}  \times 100

After cutting, you get

 \frac{375}{2}

Converting it into the simplest form we get:

187.5

So the answer of the first question is Option (C) - 187.5

2. Given Percentage: 85%.

To convert 85 into decimal,:

 \frac{85}{100}

There is no need to do cutting as we can simply write it as 0.85

So the answer of the second question is Option (B) - 0.85

3.

Speed of cycle= 15 km per hour

Speed of scooter = 30 km per hour

To convert it into ratio we will simply divide the the two given numbers.

 \frac{15}{30}

Just do the cutting and you get

 \frac{1}{2}

Now write the fraction obtained in a ratio form that is 1:2.

So the answer of the third question is Option (A) - 1:2.

4.

C.P. of shoe = Rupees 250

S.P. of shoe = Rupees 325

As S.P. > C.P. ,

There is a Profit of:

Profit = S.P. - C.P.

= Rupees ( 325 - 250)

= Rupees 75

Now we have got the profit that is 75 Rupees.

Profit % =

 \frac{profit}{cp}  \times 100

Substitute the values, so cutting and you'll get teh answer.

 \frac{75}{250}  \times 100

We get 30%.

So the answer of the fourth question is Option - (C) - 30%.

5.

15% of 250

 \frac{15}{100}  \times 250

Do the cutting and you'll get the answer.

 \frac{3 \times 25}{2}

 \frac{75}{2}

We get 37.5

So the answer of the fifth question is Option (C) - 37.5

6.

C.P of T.V. = Rupees 10,000

Profit% = 20%

Profit = 20% of C.P.

= 20 % of 10,000

 \frac{20}{100}  \times 10000

Do cutting and you'll get the Profit.

After the cutting you get 2000 Rupees as the Profit.

S.P = C.P. + Profit

= 10,000 + 2000

=> 12,000

So the answer of the sixth question is Option (A) - Rupees 12,000.

This is your answer. Hope you understood all of them.
