To find : Which apartment  is cheaper for 2 months and by how much

Solution:

rent at neelgiri apartment rent for first 2 months is 20%off at 6000 per month

One month rent after discount = 6000 -  (20/100)*6000  

= 6000 - 1200

= 4800

Rent for two months at Neelgiri Apartments= 2 * 4800 = Rs 9600

savana apartment the first month is 50% off on Rs 7000

First Month Rent = 7000 - (50/100)*7000

= 3500

Second Month Rent = 7000  (as discount for 1st month only)

Rent for two months for Savana apartment = 3500 + 7000 = Rs 10500

Neelgiri Would be cheaper by 10500 - 9600  = Rs 900

Neelgiri Would be cheaper by  Rs 900
