In Kolkata, Puja festivities go on for four days. On the fourth day, that is the
last day of the festival, the images are taken out in a procession at about 6
o'clock in the evening accompanied by brass band for immersion. There at the
banks of the Hooghly river, with loud cries and reverence, the images are
