Answer:

(i)15.42 cm

(ii)56.24 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

(i) It's a half circle and the diameter is 6 cm

∴The radius of the circle is 6/2 = 3 cm

The perimeter of half circle without diameter is = \pir ['r' refers to Radius]

                                                                              = (3.14×3) cm

                                                                              ≈ 9.42 cm

The perimeter of the figure is (9.42+6) = 15.42 cm

(ii) There are two half  circles and one rectangle

If we consider  the two half circle as one full circle, there is no problem because their diameters are same. There diameter is 16 cm and so the radius is 16/2 = 8 cm

The perimeter of a circle having radius of 8 cm is = 2\pir  ['r' refers to Radius]

                                                                                  = (2×3.14×8) cm

                                                                                 ≈ 50.24 cm

The perimeter of the figure is = (50.24+3+3) cm

                                                 = 56.24 cm
