PR+QR=25cm.....(1)
PQ=5cm
PR square =PQ square +QR square (by Pythagoras theorem)
PQ square =PR square-QR square =(PR+QR)(PR-QR)
(5)^2=(25)(PR-QR)
25=25(PR-QR)
PR-QR =1cm....(2)
add (1) and (2)
2PR=26=>PR=13cm
therefore,from (2)
13-QR=1=>QR=13-1=12cm
