Before solving we have to know 3 things, they are,

Object is beyond 2F

The nature of the image will be,

✭ Real

✭ Inverted

✭ Diminished

✭ Image is formed between F and 2F

Object is between F & 2F

The nature of the image formed in such cases will be,

✭ Real

✭ Inverted

✭ Enlarged

✭ Image is formed beyond 2F

Object is in front of F

The nature of the image that gets formed will be,

✭ Virtual

✭ Erect

✭ Enlarged

✭ Image is formed in between F & 2F

\underline{\textsf{As Per the Question}}

◈ Case 1 = 55 cm

◈ Case 2 = 35 cm

◈ Case 3 = 15 cm

Case 1

➝ Image Distance (v) = 55 cm

➝ Focal Length (f) = 20 cm

➝ 2(Focal Length) = 2 × 20 = 40 cm

∴ Image is placed beyond 2F and so the image will be Real, Inverted, Diminished & Formed beyond 2F

Case 2

➝ Image Display (v) = 35 cm

➝ Focal Length (f) = 20 cm

➝ 2F = 40 cm

∴ Image is placed Between F & 2F and so the image will be Real, Inverted, Enlarged & Formed beyond 2F

Case 3

➝ Image Distance (v) = 15 cm

➝ Focal Length (f) = 20 cm

➝ 2F = 40 cm

∴ Image is placed in front of F and so the image will be Virtual, Erect, Enlarged & Formed in between F & 2F

Required ray diagrams are attached!!
