in triangle ADB

AB= 25m

BD= 20m(height)

AD=15m (base)

area of triangle= 1/2×base×height

= 1/2×15×20

= 1×15×10 (divided 20 by 2)

= 150sq.m

in triangle BDC

BC=18m

CD=14m (base)

BD=20m (height)

area of triangle= 1/2×base×height

= 1/2×14×20

= 1×14×10 (divided 20 by 2)

= 140sq.m

area of fig ABCD= area if triangle ABD+ area of triangle BCD

= 150+140

= 290sq.m
