1)  work done from graph of Force vs Displacement--> is nothing but the area under the given graph..

i) work done at end 20cm displacement covers an area which is triangular in shape so, the work don would be --area of that triangle--) 1/2ˣbaseˣheight= 1/2ˣ20ˣ20= 200 (this is in cgs)

-------------> so 200/100 (in SI

------------> 2Joules

ii) In this que there are two structures covering the area upto a displacement of 40cm, one triangle(for which you have already calculated the area which is eq to 2J) and the other one is a square of sides 20cm (BC and HC)

so, the area of that would be 20*20=400==> 4J

Now, just add the values of the Triangle and the square ==> 2J+4J= 6joules
