Hey!
Here is your answer

Aim: To verify the identity (a+b+c)^2 = a^2 + b^2 + c^2 + 2ab = 2bc + 2ca?

Previous knowledge: Algebraic Identities

Material required: 1. Glaze Paper of 6 different colours
2. Glue stick
3. Geometry Box
4. Scissors
Procedure: 1. Draw a square of side 10 c.m.
2. Cut 3 squares of side a (5 c.m.) b (3 c.m.) c (2c.m.) respectively
3. Cut 2 sets of rectangles of each type.The types are,
ab=5*3
bc=3*2
ca=2*5
4. Paste the pieces together to get a square of sige 10 c.m.(Make sure the pieces do not overlap.)

Observation: Verify the identity by putting the values of a, b, c to find the area of the square piece by piece.

Hope this Helps
