1. Salary of man = 600 rs

increased salary = 850 rs

the amount increased = 850 - 600 = 250 rs

so , the percent = (250 * 1100/600

2. i. 60 / 100 = 0.6

to find 5 % do 0.6 * 5 = 3

so increase = 3

3. 80 / 100 = 0.8

to find 30 % do 0.8*20 = 16

so decrease value = 80 - 16 = 64

4. the no is 80 as

80/100 = 0.8

so , 0.8 * 10 = 8 so no is 80 +8 = 88

so the no is 80

5.let the original price of the car be 100

reduction = 20 % = 20 rs

now do 100 - 20 = 80 so

original price = 100 * 40000/80

so,that value is Rs. 50000

therefore reduction of price = 50000 - 40000 = 10000rs.
