L ∝ R

Here we have,

length of wire = 100 cm

it's resistance = 10 ohms

i.e. => 100/10 = 10

L/R = 1

If the wire is further extended by 25 cm,

that is , the new length of wire becomes 1.25 m.

then it's new resistance will be=> 1.25 ×10

=> 12.5

ohms
