Given, C.S.A of Cone = 308 cm^2
& Slant Height (l) = 14 cm

i) As we know that,
=> C.S.A of Cone = 308 cm^2

 =  >  \:  \pi  \times r \times l \:  = 308 \:  {cm}^{2}
putting the values,

 =  >   \frac{22}{7}  \times r \times 14 = 308 \:  {cm}^{2}

 =  > 44 \times r \:  = 308

 =  >  \: r \:  =  \frac{308}{44}
 =  >  \: r \:  = 7 \: cm \:

Now,

ii). We know that,

=> T.S.A of Cone = C.S.A + Area of base ring

 =  > t.s.a \:  = 308 +  \pi  \times  {r}^{2}
 =  >  \: t.s.a  = 308 +  \frac{22}{7}  \times 7 \times 7
 =  > t.s.a \:  = 308 + 154 \:  {cm}^{2}
=> T.S.A of Cone = 462 cm^2

(i) Let "r" be the radius .

\therefore C.S.A = π × r × L

=> 308 = π × r × 14

let's take 14 to other side, as it's multiplying here, so after taking to other side it will divide!

=> \frac{308}{14} = π × r

=> 22 = \frac{22}{7} × r

=> r = \cancel{22} × \frac{7}{\cancel{22}}

=> r = 7 cm

thus, radius of the base = 7cm.

(ii) Total surface area of cone,

= CSA + area of base

= 308 + π × r²

= 308 + \frac{22}{\cancel{7}} × \cancel{7} × 7

= 308 + 154

= 462 cm² (ANSWER)
