Hey there !!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Initially number of boys=x
Number of girls=y
Total strength=x+y
Initial % of boys = number of boys/total strength
x/x+y= 60/100
x/x+y= 3/5----Equation 1
According to question :
6 boys were admitted into the class and 6 girls left the class
So,
Number of boys= x+6
Number of girls= y-6
Total strength = x+6+y-6= x+y
% of boys = x+6/x+y = 75/100
x+6/x+y = 3/4----Equation 2
Dividing equation 1 and 2
x/x+y/x+6/x+y = 3/5/3/4
x/x+6=4/5
5x=4x+24
x=24
Substituting x=24 in Equation 1
x/x+y=3/5
24/24+y=3/5
24*5=24*3+3y
120-72=3y
48=3y
y=16
So original number of boys=24 and girls =16
