Solution :-

In ∆PSQ and ∆PSR we have,

→ ∠PSQ = ∠PSR (Each 90°)

→ PQ = PR (Side opposite to 90° angle is hypotenuse which is given 6.5 cm)

→ PS = PS (common side)

since we know that,

  • if the hypotenuse and one side of a right angled triangle are equal to the hypotenuse and the corresponding side of another right angled triangle then, both ∆'s are congruent by RHS congruence rule .

therefore,

→ ∆PSQ ≅ ∆PSR { By RHS Congruence Rule .}
