The time of flight will be
y = vt - 1/2*g*t^2
and since y is zero atlast after the parabolic motion of the stone.
1/2*g*t^2 = vt
Therefore,
t = 0 and t = 2v/g
Time of flight = 2v/g
The horizontal range will be
Range = u*time = u*2v/g = 2uv/g
