Explanation:

1) Voltmeter is used to measure voltage and voltmeter is connected parallel to the circuit and on other hand ammeter is used to measure current in a circuit and ammeter is connected in series.

2) Resistivity of alloys is lesser than of its pure constituent metal because they are made such that resistance will be minimum.

3) Nichrome is used in electric iron because is has high resistance so that it can heat easily and Nichrome has high melting and boiling point.

4) Rather than using pure metal resistivity will be high and melting and boiling point will be high too. For example Nichrome heats up very easily than other metal.

5) Connecting rod has less resistance so it don't heats up as mentioned above heating element will glow because of high resistance it will produce heat.

6) When a bulb in a series circuit is unscrewed all bulbs in the circuit go out. Increasing the number of bulbs in a series circuit decreases the brightness of the bulbs. ... Bulbs in parallel are brighter than bulbs in series. In a parallel circuit the voltage for each bulb is the same as the voltage in the circuit.

7) In parallel current will be distributed equally and If one bulb goes off it will not affect other bulbs it will still continue to glow

8)

9) A fuse should not be replaced because fuse of less resistance will protect the appliance from overload. But if replaced with a fuse with higher resistance it will not protect the appliance from overload

10) Bulbs are filled with chemically inactive Nitrogen or Argon gas to prevent the oxidation of tungsten filament used in the bulb.

11)

12)

13) Copper for transmission lines and manganin for heating devices

14) SI unit of Electric energy is joules and commercial unit of electric energy is kWh

15) Just apply the formula its easy

atleast give higher points please for such long question is hard to type
