 \frac{a}{6}  =  \frac{8}{18}

Shift 6 and multiply with the fraction.

Note :- When the denominator is shifted it is multiplied and the numerator is divided.

a =  \frac{8}{18}  \times 6

18 and 6 are divisible

(6×3=18)

a =  \frac{8}{3}

Divide the fraction and convert it into decimal.

 = 2.67
