Answer:

1(i) (-8)×(-5)+(-6)

= 40+(-6)

= 36

(ii) [(-5)×(-3)]+(-4)

= 15+(-4)

= 11

(iii) (-10)× [(-13)+(-10)]

= (-10) × [ (-13)-10]

= (-10)× (-23)

= 230

(iv) (-5) × [(-6)+5]

= (-5)×(-1)

= 5

Solve the following

1. (-8) × (-5) + (-6)

2. [(-6) × (-3)] + (-4)

3. (-10) + [(-13) + (-10)]

4. (-5) × [(-6) + 5]

Solution :-

1. (-8) × (-5) + (-6)

40 + (-6)

2. [(-6) × (-3)] + (-4)

18 + (-4)

3. (-10) + [(-13) + (-10)]

-10 + (-3)

4. (-5) × [(-6) + 5]

(-5) × (-1)

Further Information :-

1. While solving sums, always use DMAS rule.

2. D :- Division (÷)

ㅤM :- Multiplication (×)

ㅤA :- Addition (+)

ㅤS :- Subtraction (-)

3. Always use division first, multiplication second, addition third and subtraction at last.

4. Integers contains negative numbers, non-negative numbers, positive numbers and zero numbers.

5. Negative :- -1, -2, -3, -4 ...

6. Positive :- 1, 2, 3, 4 ...

7. Non-negative :- 6, 8, 0, 9 ...

8. Zero :- 0

9. In a number line, zero is neither positive nor negative.
