Lenth of the pipe (h) = 21cm

diametre of exterior pipe = 8cm

Radius of exterior pipe (R)= 8/2 =4cm

thickness of pipe = 1cm

radius of interior pipe (r) = 4-1 =3cm

Volume of metal used in the pipe =  π (R² - r²)h

= 22/7 (4² -3²)21

= 22/7 (16 -9)21

= 22 x 21 = 462 cm³

Weight of iron = 8g/cm³

Total weight = 462 x 8 = 3696g = 3.696kg
