Bulb A is rated as 100W-120V
Resistance=(V^2)/P=100×100/120=500/6ohm
Bulb B is rated as 10W-120V
Resistance=(V^2)/P=10×10/120=5/6 ohm
when connected in series Current is same for both resistor
Energy consumed=I×I×R×t
So more is the resistance more is energy consumption.
as resistance of Bulb A is greater than resistance of bulb B therefore Energy consumed by A is greater than that of B
