• Quakers rejected elaborate religious ceremonies, didn't have official clergy and believed in spiritual equality for men and women.
• Quaker missionaries first arrived in America in the mid-1650s. Quakers, who practice pacifism, played a key role in both the abolitionist and women's rights movements.

• The Boston Tea Party, was important because it fueled the tension between Britain and America that ultimately led to the Revolutionary War, which started in 1775 and led to America winning its independence from Britain.

• The September Massacres were a series of killings of prisoners in Paris that occurred from 2–6 September 1792 during the French Revolution.
• They lasted from Sunday afternoon until Thursday evening.
• By 6 September, half the prison population of Paris had been summarily executed.

Boston Tea Party was a protest against the British parliament which have levailed tax on tea inorder to promote the business of the East India company.

The people of Paris angered by the action of the Swiss guards in shooting and killing many of them hunted down the supporters of monarchy under their leader Marat. In three days, from September 2, about 1500 suspected dissidents were put in prison. After a trial, they were killed and this incident is called “September Massacres”. .
