i) In the first case, the electrons will flow from sphere A to sphere B because sphere A has an excess of electrons while sphere B is uncharged i.e. it has equal number of protons and neutrons.

ii) In the second case, the electrons will flow from sphere B to sphere A because A has excess protons while sphere B has equal number of protons and neutrons i.e. it is uncharged.
