Money earned by Seema in a year = \textbf{Rs.1,50,000}

The amount of money saved by her= \textbf{Rs.50,000}

Here, we have to find the ratios only.

In the first question, we have to find the ratio of the money earned be Seema to the money she saves.

\implies{\bold{1,50,000:50,000}}

\implies{\bold{\cancel{1,50,000}:\cancel{50,000}}}

\Huge\implies{\bold{\boxed{\star{\underline{3}}}}}

Now, in the second question, we have to find the ratio of money she saves to the money she spends.

So, money spent=

\boxed{\bold{\star{\underline{Money\: earned-Money \:saved}}}}

\bold{Rs.(1,50,000-50,000)=Rs.1,00,000}

Now, the ratio:-

\implies{\bold{50,000:1,00,000}}

\implies{\bold{\cancel{50,000}:\cancel{1,00,000}}}

\Huge\implies{\boxed{\bold{\star{\underline{1:2}}}}}

While solving these type of questions, we use ':' sign, which indicates a fraction and us pronounced as \sf{\bold{\underline{'is\: to'.}}}
