2.non-metallic oxide is formed. ex- nitrogen dioxide

3.metallic oxide/hydroxide is formed and hydrogen gas is realeased. ex- zinc hydroxide

4.when metal reacts with acid it gives metal salt and releases hydrogen gas. ex- nitric acid+ calcium= calcium nitrate + hydrogen

5.bases do not react with metal
