There are altogether 450 families in village Palampur, out of which 150 families, most of them dalits, are landless. Of the remaining families who own land, 240 families cultivate small plots of land less than 2 hectares in size.

The remaining 60 families of medium and large farmers cultivate more than 2 hectares of land. A few of the large farmers have land extending over 10 hectares or even more.

Thus, we can say that the distribution of cultivated land is quite unequal in the village Palampur.

Pls do mark it as brainliest...

We know that land is very important for farming. Unfortunately, not all the people in Palampur had land for cultivation. There are probably 450 families in Palampur, out of which ,only 240 families cultivate land but less than 2 hectares. 150 families were landless and the remaining 60 families were medium and large farmers who have more than 2 hectares of land . A few of large farmers also had more than 10 hectares of land.

Cultivation from plots of land less than 2 hectares was very less, thus the smaller farmers don't bring adequate income to the farmers family. On the other hand, half of the areas of land was under large farmers. Thus, land in Palampur is unevenly distributed.
