Given that,

sides=12 cm.

so let base be 12 cm and height be 12 cm...

area of triangle=1/2×base×height

1/2×12×12

72 cm*2...

Answer:

So the third side = 30 - (12 x 2)

= 30 - 24

= 6 cm

Altitude is also the median. Thus drop a perpendicular to the side which is = 6 cm.

Thus

altitude^{2} = 12^{2} - 3^{2} (Pythagoras Theorem)

= 144 - 9

= 135 cm

altitude = \sqrt{135}

= 3 \sqrt{15} cm

Thus area of Triangle = 1/2 x 6 x 3 root 15

= 9 \sqrt{15} cm^{2}
