here's your answer! ヾ(≧▽≦*)o

i) (\sqrt{5} + \sqrt{2} )^{2}

A) BY USING  (a + b)^{2} = a^{2} + b^{2} + 2ab

  ⇒ ( √5 )² + ( √2 )² + 2( √5 × √ 2 )

  ⇒ 5 + 2 + 2√( 5 × 2 )

  ⇒ 5 + 2 + 2√10

  → 7 + 2√10

ii) ( \sqrt{5} - \sqrt{2} ) ( \sqrt{5} + \sqrt{2} )

A) BY USING ( \sqrt{a} - \sqrt{b} ) ( \sqrt{a} + \sqrt{b} ) = x - y

 ⇒ ( √5 - √2 )  ( √5 + √2 ) = 5 - 2

 → ( √5 - √2 )  ( √5 + √2 ) = 3
