Answers of the road not taken poem
Answers
Robert Frost wrote
this early 20th century. It is short poem with 16 lines and 4 stanzas.
It is written in simple English language that all can understand.
The poem describes a situation that everyone in his/her life
often faces.
1. The roads symbolize the alternative choices one has to choose to at a
point of time. Like choosing to be Engineer or Doctor? Politician
or Businessman ? The roads are the career paths. The junction is
the deciding point of time. Standing there and thinking is the long
process of decision making. One has to make a decision "alone "
by oneself.

The rhyming theme is written in terms of which lines
have the same notes/tones of singing the poem. Which lines need to
be sung same way.
4. The dilemma is that whether he should take the more frequently
traveled road or less frequently traveled and
more fresh one. The more frequently traveled path, one is sure of
returning back. On the other path, one is not sure of returning safely in
time. As it is not known what lies ahead on that path.
5. He has taken finally a road that is less traveled. The second
path. He was happy to choose that too. Because he will be able to
tell in future to his children and friends that he chose a less traveled path
and he made himself, and what he became was a result of his wise decision on
that day.
