South Africa is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful countries in the world. We have incredible mountain ranges with spectacular views; a coastline of unsurpassed beauty, oceans filled with fish, not to mention the enormous varieties of bird and animal species. Scientists and biologists come from all over to study our animal and plant life, and we have clear skies and stars that astronomers come from all over to see. The enormous sadness is that our world is dying year by year. This can easily be seen by the number of plant and animal species that are rapidly becoming extinct.
