the internal dimensions of a box are 15 cm x 12 cm x 9 cm. How many cubes of side 3 cm can it contain?
If the height is made 8 cm in place of 9 cm, how many such cubes can it contain?

Answer:

when dimension of box is15cm×12cm×9cm, its volume is 1620cm3 and volume of 1cube is (3)3=27cm3 ,so total cube are 1620/27=60 and when h=8 then volume is 1440cm3 and no of cubes are 1440/27=54
