The Diwali celebrations commenced with a special assembly wherein there was poem and fancy dress competition. It was followed by a speech and the students were told various tales related to this festival.
The school principal delivered a short speech in the morning assembly to celebrate Diwali with sweets and light only and gave warm wishes to the students and inspired them to shun crackers for a healthy environment. The students also played their talent through numerous art materials like divas and candles. These beautifully decorated items were displayed in an exhibition. An anti-cracker rally for environmental protection was flagged off by the principal.
The students of class X took part in anti crackers rally. This rally raised anti-cracker slogans and held aloft banners depicting the hazards of using fire-crackers.the students marched through the streets.
