Yes, you can use antibiotics like streptomycin, gentamycin, neomycin etc. But i would rather suggest you to use PPM (plant preservative mixture) as it is a broad-spectrum preservative and biocide, which kills bacteria and fungi cells, prevents germination of spores, and in higher concentrations, can eliminate endogenous contamination in explants. it is less expensive than antibiotics. Also it is heat stable and can be autoclaved with media.
