Antilease archipelago occurs in the part of the Baltic Sea which is situated within the water territory of Finland.

Shortly after the ice age, the emergence of island was observed and it is still continuing to form as a result of post-glacial rebound.

In some cases the the old islands get merged with the new ones and get enlarged.

The 'Antilles' is an 'archipelago bordered' by Caribbean Sea to the south and west, the Mexico Gulf to the north-west, and the 'Atlantic Ocean' to the east and north.

EXPLANATION:

Antilles refers to "group of islands" in the Caribbean Sea, especially those which were named as the West Indies. The Caribbean islands or West Indies is a "vast archipelago" in far west of Atlantic Ocean, strung between South and North America.

The Antillean islands are segmented into 2 smaller groupings: the Lesser Antilles and the Greater Antilles. The Greater Antilles comprises the larger islands of Jamaica, Cuba, Hispaniola (subdivided into 'Dominican Republic' and 'Haiti'), Puerto Rico. The Lesser Antilles encompasses the "northerly Leeward Islands" and the "south-easterly Windward Islands".
