Answer:

Explanation:

I) Antonia and Bassanio are at Shylocks home who is a jew moneylender.

They have come to Shylock's place to ask him a loan of three thousand ducats for three months as Bassanio requires the money to go to Belmont and present himself as a wealthy suitor to Portia.

II) Shylock is the jew. Antonia says the following lines as jew never lend money without intrest and if Shylock is lending them this money wirthout intrest it means he is showing kindness.

III) Antonia is confident that he will not forfeit the bond because according to him he as thrice the three times the amount comming back to him in two months which is one month before the debt expires.

V) the word bond means a tie between 2 people with certain conditions. 3000 ducats are demanded in the bond and if Antonio fails to pay it Shylock can ask him for one pound of flesh from any body part of Antonio he desires.

IV) Bassanio senses Shylock's sly intentions and asks antonio to not seal to the bond.
