3/3 of the work = 4 x 3 = 12 days

Sonu can do the work in 12 days

⇒ 1 day = 1/12 of the work

Find the amount of work that can be done in 1 day if both together:

1 day = 1/25 + 1/12 = 37/300 of the work

Find the number of days needed to complete the work:

37/300 of the work = 1 day

1/300 of the work = 1 ÷ 37 = 1/37 of the day

300/300 of the work = 1/37 x 300 = 300/37 = 8.1 days
