\sf \Large Solution!!

We can simply calculate the amount by finding the interest and then adding it with the principle.

\sf \to Principle(P)=Rs\:5,000

\sf \to Rate\:of\:interest(R)=8\%

\sf \to Time(T)=1\:year

\sf \to Interest(I)=\dfrac{P\times R\times T}{100}

\sf \to I=\dfrac{5,0\cancel{00}\times 8\times 1}{1\cancel{00}}

\sf \to I=Rs\:400

\sf \large Now,

\sf \to Amount=P+I

\sf \to Amount=Rs\:8,000+Rs\:400

\sf \to Amount=Rs\:8,400

Anu will get Rs 8,400 after one year.
