• Age of Anu and Manu .

Solution :

$\longmapsto\tt{Let\:the\:age\:of\:Manu\:be=x}$

As Given that Anu is twice as old as her brother Manu . So ,

$\longmapsto\tt{Age\:of\:Anu=2x}$

A.T.Q :

$\longmapsto\tt{2x-x=2}$

$\longmapsto\tt\bf{x=2}$

Value of x is 2 .

Therefore :

$\longmapsto\tt{Present\:Age\:of\:Anu=2(2)}$

$\longmapsto\tt\bf{4\:yrs}$

$\longmapsto\tt{Present\:Age\:of\:Manu=x}$

$\longmapsto\tt\bf{2\:yrs}$

After 10 years :

$\longmapsto\tt{Age\:of\:Anu=4+10}$

$\longmapsto\tt\bf{14\:yrs}$

$\longmapsto\tt{Age\:of\:Manu=2+10}$

$\longmapsto\tt\bf{12\:yrs}$

According to the given condition:-

Let the age of Manu be x

and the age of Anu be 2x

✪Now ATQ:-

$\blue \leadsto \bf x = 2$

Here we got the value of x as 2.

Hence:-

Present age of Manu x = 2 years

Present age of Anu 2x = 2(2) = 4 years

After 10 years:-

Age of Manu = 10 + 2 = 12 years

Age of Anu = 10 + 4 = 14 years
