HEY !!!

Given cuboids of dimensions 15cm, 30cm ,15cm

LCM(15, 30, 15) = 30

Since 15*2 = 30

        30*1 = 30

and  15*2  = 30  {since a cube has all the dimensions are same}

So, the number of cuboids required to form a cube = 2*1*2 = 4

So, by using 4 cuboids, we can form a cube having side 30 cm each.

let sides of cuboid are

l = 15 cm, b = 30 cm , h = 15 cm

_______________________________
Step 1 Find volume of cubiod :
_______________________________
volume = l × b × h = 15 × 30 ×15 =6750 cm^3

_______________________________
Step 2 Find L.C.M of given dimensions :
_______________________________

L .C.M ( 15 ,30 ,15 ) = 30

smallest such cube will have a side length

= 30 cm

_______________________________
Step 3 Find volume of cube :
_______________________________

since ,we know cube has equal length of all sides.

side = 30 cm

volume
=side × side × side =30×30 ×30=27000
_______________________________

therefore, required number of cuboids

= volume of cube / volume of cuboid

=27000 /6750 = 4 cuboids

Your Answer : 4 cuboids
