Answer:

The fencing would cover the perimeter of the garden.

Considering that the garden is in rectangular shape,

P = 2 (40+20)

=> P = 2 (60)

=> P = 120 m

The total cost = 120 × 150

= 18000 Rs.

Answer:

length of garden =40m

breadth of garden =20m

perimeter of the garden =2(l+b)

2(40m+20m)

2×60m

120m

cost of fencing per meter = 150/-

cost of fencing for 120m= 150/- ×120m

18,000/-

therefore,the cost of fencing the garden is 18,000/-
