Explanation:
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is a popular mission of India that is praised by all other countries. On 2nd October 2014 Govt of India launched Swachh Bharat Abhiyan which is also known as clean India. The Mission was started on the birthday of Bapu (Mahatma Gandhi) as Gandhi always tried to make people aware of the benefits of cleanliness. The motive of this Abhiyan is to provide the citizens of the country with more clean and hygienic surroundings to live in. Not only in urban areas but also in the rural areas of the country people are contaminating the environment with their waste. That hurts the environment. So Govt of India considers that people need to act properly to make the country clean and green.
The aim of this scheme is to focus on proper waste management and to ensure that every household in rural areas has a clean and hygienic toilet. Though the Govt of India has started the program, later every citizen of the country has taken it forward to make India a clean and green country.
