Answer

Explanation: Anuj gets shock because of inserting pencil into the socket because pencil has graphite in the centre of the wood and graphite is a good conductor of electricity.

Anuj gets shocked as a result of embedding the pencil into the attachment since the pencil has graphite in the focal point of the wood and graphite is a decent channel of electric conduction.

What is a conductor?

  • Conductors are materials that license electrons to stream openly from one molecule to another.
  • An item made of a leading material will allow charge to be moved across the whole surface of the item.

Is a pencil a conductor?

  • Graphite is comprised of carbon particles with delocalised electrons which can travel through the graphite.
  • The electrons permit graphite to lead power.
